Howdy! I'm a proud southern girl, born and raised in the vibrant city of Houston, Texas. Southern people's warmth, hospitality, and deep-rooted traditions have always resonated with me and nourished my soul.

My educational journey led me to Mississippi, where I pursued my college studies at The University of Southern Miss. There, I dedicated myself to acquiring knowledge in Mass Communications & Journalism, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree. Immediately after graduating, I embarked on an exciting career at Capital One Bank, where I immersed myself in the world of marketing and digital technology for a remarkable five years. I absorbed every bit of knowledge and experience that came my way.

As fate would have it, an incredible opportunity arose during the merger of Hancock and Whitney Banks, leading me to join the dynamic team at Hancock Whitney Bank (formerly Whitney National Bank). As a marketing specialist, I played a vital role in the creation and enhancement of local events such as Whitney White Linen Night and Whitney Zoo To Do. My dedication and passion for marketing propelled me forward, allowing me to assume various marketing positions within the organization.

In 2017, I made a bold decision to follow my creative instincts and took up a position at Brand Society, a local boutique agency. Over the next five years, I thrived as the Director of Social Media, honing my skills in social media management, digital advertising, and team leadership. Working alongside a team of talented and passionate women, I expanded my horizons and delved deeper into the realm of creativity.

Life presented me with unforeseen challenges, including weathering a global pandemic and the devastating impact of Hurricane Ida. These experiences stirred a profound desire within me to give back and utilize my digital expertise to make a real difference in people's lives. In 2022, I seized the opportunity to join the national non-profit organization SBP (St. Bernard Project) as the Director of Marketing. It has been an absolute joy to spearhead social and digital campaigns within the non-profit space, where I witness firsthand the tangible and meaningful impact we can create.
